Values & Beliefs |

The
values I embrace as a member of the Lords church and
an evangelist are captured from the heart of Jesus in
two very simple, yet profound, scriptural passages.
These passages are referred to as the Great Commandment
and the Great Commission, and these visionary values
drive everything I do and define all that I am. |

The
Great Commandment, |
| |
| |
"Teacher,
which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
" Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul and with all your
mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And
the second is like it; love your neighbor as yourself.
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

The
Great Commission, |

"Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age."

From
these two passages it is easy to derive the Christians
vision statement and core values. The vision statement
for any ministry in the Lords Church: "Building
a Church of Great Commandment and of Great Commission
People" There are five biblical core values that
guide us individually and as a body: |

1) Love
God. Mark 12:30
2) Love Others. Matthew 22:35
3) Reach the Lost. Matthew 28:18-19
4) Grow & Mature. 2 Peter 3:17-18
5) Serve God. Matthew 4:10 |
